Just try to chill out, breathe and try not to over think things during a conversation. Freezing up is generally a symptom of anxiety, which often coincides with ADHD. I know it’s easier said than done, but have you tried meditation and mindfulness? This may help treat the feeling of being scattered.
Conversation Starter
Analyst 1 - For me it’s when I’m working on something that doesn’t interest me AND there’s no context given. That’s a death pair for me.

I understand this feeling.
Have you been told that you’re scattered or aren’t a good resource? Or is this a fear? Chances are you are more aware of these tendencies than others are. And having the thought “I’m scattered” can result in being scattered.
Regarding overlooking things, there are ways to manage this and develop habits.
For instance work to detailed checklists. And get in the habit of writing down every action item you have or think of on the list
Also treat sending an email or finishing a task like checking out of a hotel room. Before you leave the key on the desk take one last look around to make sure you didn’t forget anything.
Regarding freezing up during conversation this is part anxiety and self editing rather than flowing. I think it’s ok to say “oh lost my train of thought there”
practice active listening and focus on the speaker - otherwise your mind might have 20 ideas swirling around and it makes responding difficult. This is one thing that medication helps me with. And practice.
Write your thoughts down, that helps me stay focused, concise and hit on key points. Learn how to respond when you’re dealing with uncertainty, train your brain to follow a standard response “Good question. I will need look into that” or “I’ll make a note to look into that”.
I know exactly how you feel OP. I hate being told I am making careless mistakes, working too fast, or not paying attention to detail. When the fact of the matter is I am paying so much attention and still overlooking things.
