I am not an attorney and cannot give legal advice (my disclaimer), but I do look at the situation from a compliance/policy/process lens and urge to consult legal always. I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.
It's now been 3 weeks since the interview and I still haven't heard back from the team other than the odd HR email saying they are following up with them. Is there something going on internally, I.e hiring freeze in the London office atm?

Working as a Senior Accountant at Vanguard with my CPA; 3 YOE, Greater Philadelphia area. Took this job to give accounting one more try and while I don’t regret it I’m bored. Anything in finance more challenging/less box-checking? People have recommended public but I’m not interested in audit/tax or travel.

Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad. My current company and many others I know about do not offer the mobility to do so until much later, which is not what I want. Thank you.
