Fellow 🐬 - We need another electric breastpump so my wife can keep one at work instead of carrying it everyday. Insurance only covers 1 pump. Wanted to see if any can get one through their insurance

...if you are not gonna use it.

Thanks!!

Where are you located

Also, assuming you're not with Deloitte, as we get one from the firm, too...

I am in NY and not deloitte. We dont get one from the firm

Ok. I have an extra. Actually 2 since I’m due w #2, hubs also at D and still have the first pump. But in Chicago so don’t know how you’d want to work it

Wow thanks D1. Would you be able to ship it to me and I can pay for the shipping cost?

My burner: thebestfishout@gmail.com

D1 - You think you can do it?

@OP- Friendly advise...when someone steps up to assist you, you don't follow up with asking to do more for you. You luck manners and are looking for the solution with the least effort and cost to you. Even if I had one I would not send it to you.

Lack ...damn autocorrect

My appologies for showing lack of manners. If someome is in Chicago and I am in NY, I thought the only way it could work ia by shipping. Am i wrong?

Many health insurance policies cover a pump. That’s how we got our second one.

@OP - Still missing the point, someone offers a pump, you make it your problem on how to get it to you vs his/hers.

Oops my bad. I meant to say pay for the shipping that would pick it up. It costs about the same to ship it or have the shipper pick it up.

Hi all, looking for advice.

I'm a technical writer with background in the hardware and healthcare industry. What would be a better option for me, pivoting into software tech writing or project management.

Which one pays better/is better (any advice appreciated, must be fully remote role)

If software tech writing, does anyone have advice on how to break into a role or learn what it takes to become one?

For PM, I got a cert (not PMP) and am trying to decide which of these two I go with.

I grew up poor and was obsessed w financial security. After investing my blood, sweat and tears into my career for years, I’ve decided I don’t care about my career or earnings as long as I have enough to support my family. We are happier than ever making less and saving little. I wasn’t there when my mom was sick and died because I was working and my employer didn’t allow me to be in a mental headspace to be a good person for my family. I can never change that but I can be better going forward.
