Leasing is very expensive these days. I always go CPO, its peace of mind and usually get a significant discount vs new
Not always expensive. Last month you could lease a hornet phev (45k msrp) for about $250 all in.
CPO. Lets someone else take the huge depreciation hit when they bought it new. Most of them come with a year or two extended warranty.
Pretty huge depreciation from CPO price to what it’s worth after the expiration of the warranty, too.
Basically, a lease is a legal scam that preys on the poor.
Certified pre owned means it’s in good enough condition that it won’t embarrass the company.
New means new, but you’re paying the new car premium
Just lease one if you are not committed and you can always sell it if you decide to change, a bit more expensive but won’t break the bank
I think you could do the old CarMax trick, where you sell the car (hopefully for a slight profit, or no loss) and then just buy out the lease and keep the difference
What’s your budget?
Looking at Audi Q5, Mercedes GLC as of now
First of all, welcome to the US. Secondly, Don't buy American. The unions don't exchange their wages for quality. Toyota is the best brand overall, unless you care more about overengineered garbage from Europe. America still owns the market on muscle, but the V8 is dying in droves now
