SO and I got in to a disagreement on the background of Indian tech CEOs. It appears that they are all from 1 or 2 major communities in India.

While he thinks that its genetics/being naturally gifted that got them to where they are I believe it's the environment & discipline that made them successful. We are not from said communities but curious to hear your thoughts on who is more accurate.

I figure if anyone can understand this, it’s you all. I feel like I’m losing my damn mind. I have always loved communications, and I’m really good at it. But lately I’m so tired of politics and toxicity that I it’s sent me into a depression tailspin, on top of a pretty severe mid-life crisis. Two and a half weeks ago, I quit my job with nothing lined up. Not the smartest thing I’ve ever done, but I kind of feel like self-preservation was at work here. I recently had an interview with HCL and cleared 2 rounds of technical interview. I waited for a week for HR call but no such call was received. I then contacted the POC who scheduled the interview (he is an HCL employee) and he said that I have been shortlisted and will receive HR call shortly. This was 1 week ago and I have still not received any call. Has anyone else faced the same issue? And if yes, should I even expect a call fro HR?
