Florida—House Bill 1461 is quietly moving forward, and it’s a serious threat to public protection and professional standards. This bill would eliminate over 20 licensing boards, including the Florida Board of Accountancy which oversees CPAs.

If this bill passes, there will be no accountants overseeing accountants—just general administrators making decisions in professions they may not fully understand. Please take a minute to contact your state lawmakers and urge them to vote NO on HB1461.

Big 4 consultant with 10 yoe, mostly in ERP/CRM implementation and program/project management, have Salesforce Admin cert but not much hands on experience due to mostly management exp, looking into Director TPM roles - should I apply? Tax senior with CPA at small firm. Best way to get to Big 4 audit? (LA or OC) Went to non-target so little to no alumni at B4. I don’t mind the switch to a lower title since audit was always my preference and was never a fan of tax (stayed local for family).

I joined EY in January. Had no work all of January, but was busy for February and some of March. I have been unassigned for about 4 weeks now, sending availability emails to all of the service lines we are allowed to reach out to for work. I should not have come here 🤦🏼‍♂️ I know it’s nice to have some down-time, but when every day is staring at a computer, the days are SO long.

If you have 4 days PTO, would you rather use it together in one week or take 1day off for 4 weeks ?
