Where do you buy dogecoin?
If you have cash that you want to invest. Please consider Treasury Series I Savings Bond (Electronic). Interest is 7.12% right now. While it's not guaranteed that the 7.12% will remain until next year, it's still a good deal.
My SO and I just invested 20k (10k max per person even married).

I think this is better than a target date fund. I think you would have a had time finding any 5 year period where the target date fund outperforms sp500.
Chief
Could be. The SP500 returned 10% (total) over that 10 year period. If you had DCAed in during that period you would have doubled that with 20% total return (because you would have bought in at time below the starting point). Not sure how to find the return a target date fund would have returned.
Just remember to move to more conservative investments as you near your retirement age
That's fine as is

Very good, low cost option. Also doesn’t take rocket science. Just ride it out, and remember to zoom out.
Yes, it is perfectly good plan. You are getting a discount right now so it’s even better. As SM1 said, as you get older, you can start getting a little conservative but from your question, it looks like you are quite a distance away from that point. Good luck
