Go back in time and arrive earlier

Drunk me is loving my comment

Ask flight attendants to ask the gate agent to hold the flight. I’ve been on flights where they did this. What terminal/gate do you land and where do you take off? just trying to figure how time needed in between.

Run fast. Don’t mess around at TSA!

Boards at 340 or takes off at 340? And you’ll arrive to airport at 320? If takes off at 340, it’s gone, you’re not making that.

like

No, they’re not holding it. Those doors are closing at 3:25. Unless it’s delayed

That's just poor planning. Your only hope is a delayed flight.

like

If you have Clear and if your flight leaves from B gates then you have a shot.

I’m surprised that you have the time to post here with questions versus arriving earlier

likefunny

Everyone has pre. Clear is the only decent way to get through security anymore.

Start looking for a new flight

Son, you’re missing your flight. Unless you have elite status like ConciergeKey, you are SOL.

Sometimes you get lucky I guess..? I've made a flight like that before

Lol wut

Happened to me once. I made it, but ran like my life depended on it. Also Looked up my gate map ahead of time. Tell the flight attendant to give you a head start.

like

Better hope I won’t be on your flight. I’m not staying in my seat for others, who don’t plan accordingly, to run out first. I’ve places to be too.

Time management skills on point for a consultant 😂 jk!

funny

Same airline/connecting? only hope is gates are very close by and you can see if tell your flight attendant and can get out first

No sorry misunderstood it’s not connecting

Not a great time to missing your flight - especially one that is actually going to make it into the air

Keep us posted OP, if you make it, my belief that all heroes don’t wear capes will be reaffirmed

I’m sure most of us have missed a flight. It sucks. Hopefully you arrive a few minutes early, there’s no line - or ask everyone to cut to front, you’ll feel like an asshole but everyone in line is already dead to life so no one cares, then run. Good luck!

Well I missed the check in window so will have to rebook my flight. All good it’s not the end of the world

At this point just keep it. I’m afraid you’ll damage something else while returning it

funny

I also scratched the Uber car on the way not because I was rushing the bag was just lopsided and tipped over. It’s def been a fun day lol

Who arrives at an airport, especially as big as O’hare, 20 mins before a flight, has bag(s) to check and expects a red carpet. Madonna?

For expert witnesses/lawyers

I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?

Thank You.

M/SM and above, why do you label a meeting as “touch point” or ask if you can have a “quick chat” when it’s something serious? But at my new job, my boss asked for a “quick chat” to literally ask me to change the title of a meeting and then chat about christmas. Now that I’m in management, I want to understand it better.
