Thoughts on getting a CAMS certification as a Staff/Senior?

It's worth it when you're trying to move companies, since employers and clients alike want to see it on your resume. I've has some clients request for staff to have a CAMS certification

I think it is good broad based and well recognized certification. If you have experience in the field it requires a bit of studying but is not overly onerous. If you work in AML / CFT I think certainly worth doing

I’ve been in life underwriting for over 20 years and honestly have never enjoyed it. The strictly production related work is hard for me to stay focused and be interested in the job. Jack of all trades master of none Looking for career advise.

I've got into tech about 5 years ago since then I've worked in SQL, excel, database administration, PowerShell, html, some python, shell, SharePoint, power automate, power apps, various apis and other software.

I feel like I just keep taking on small bits of information/skills but never get specialized. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here or been in a similar situation?

Thank you for your insight.

Going to be finishing my Data Science masters soon. Thinking a lot about my future, if it is worth staying in agency or if I should just move to tech companies. For people who work in agencies, do you really use data science? By data science, I mean things that are not reporting and actually doing predictive modeling/ML. Do agencies even hire data scientists? Or it just falls under the general analytics roles.

Having a tough time getting a Product Manager interview. I have 3.5 YOE in technology implementations for a startup (my client). First 2.5 years were spent building my clients software, most recent year has been as a project manager for them. A lot of what I’ve done in last year overlaps ProdM responsibilities but I recognize it is a change. Am I reaching too much for a PM role? What are other roles I should consider to try to position myself to break into PM? Thank you for your help 🙏🏼
