I am having 4 YOE as a Salesforce developer , I joined techM on july21 but I am thinking to put papers because of my pay and also my project , I am not seeing any learning scope in my project . currently I am getting 12.5 lpa .

How much can I expect If I put papers now and attend interviews.
I am 3x Salesforce certified and 2x copado devops certified.

Currently 1.5 YOE and planning to apply in 2-3 years. Wharton is by far my number 1 choice (over H/S). I WANT TO BE YOU PEOPLE.

Question for paid search experts who have big agency experienc (e.g. big 4, dentsu, etc.) - is it considered standard to use SKAG instead of STAG, and use alpha/beta structures?...even with the changes Google has made to phrase and exact match? The various agencies I've worked at (small agencies) never use that method.

If you were interviewing someone from a small agency and they said they didn't use those types of account structures, would you think they were inexperienced?

I had a very positive experience interviewing with Amazon for an L5 Technical Writer role. I originally applied for a lower level writing role, ending up acing my Loop, and was passed on to speak to the hiring manager for the L5 role.

Given the positive tone of our conversation, I expect to receive an offer this week.

Working as CAL Manager with Accenture S&C India. Offered ~GBP 76.5K (fixed plus flexi) at Manager Grade by Deloitte London.

Prior to Accenture, I have already served as S&O Manager with Deloitte India for ~1.5 yrs - so this would be my second stint with Deloitte as Manager "again".

2 questions:
1. Should I ask for Senior Mgr (AD) grade - to which they have already said NO
2. Is GBP 76.5K sitting at the lower end of M grade in Deloitte UK? What should be a good expectation for the role

Transitioning from com. lit into tax controversy?

I have a tax LLM and started my career out of law school doing M&A tax at a big4. After 9 months, I got out of big4 transactional hell and into whatever litigation I could find. I now practice commercial lit but would welcome the opportunity to eventually transition into tax controversy (which I wasn’t able to do before). Does my commercial litigation “break” hurt my prospect? How long can I stay in com lit without hurting my chances even more?

New associate starting in the tax group at a biglaw firm in NYC. Would really appreciate any advice on how to be most useful/get through the learning curve!

Any T&E associates in here who I could talk to? I’m a transactional tax associate at a v5 firm doing M&A and capital markets work and hating it. I’m a 4th year with an LLM and a clerkship and I think I regret not pursuing T&E or private wealth.

Can anyone advise - if I did not file taxes for 2019 and 2020 is there a way I can file without receiving a penalty? I just didn’t file them no great reason. Nothing complicated and I probably owe a few hundred each year in fed taxes. Nothing crazy.

For anyone who practices tax lit in the US Tax Court, what’s your experience with the independent office of appeals? They don’t seem quite that “independent” to me and so far, I’ve only had one appeals officer who seemed knowledgeable and nice. It’s been a real headache.
