Could anyone shine some light on how to go from consulting to the investment side of PE?

I'm working as a QA in a product based company and have an experience of 2.7 years in both manual and automation testing. I'm trying for a switch in a SDET role, but now my current company is offering me the role of a Product Manager. Can anyone share your thoughts on what should I do? Is SDET a better role or a PM as a point of career growth ?

I'm currently working for a fintech firm as SQL Developer which has got me into a toxic working culture(zero support from colleges) with no learnings so far.

Although, I'm from a Commerce domain..I wanted to move into Data Analytics so I learned SQL and Tableau on my own to get myself better Data Analytic job opportunities to build my career in.

However, without any live projects and hands on experience on the tool, I could only learn a few things about these two mentioned tools. So

I see a lot of postings for "presentation designer". Is this a poor career move if I'm looking to move up and be an AD sooner than later?

As a Registered Nurse with 11 years sales experience, why am I constantly turned down for healthcare-related sales roles? Yet on the flip side, I've gotten tons of offers in industrial or engineering spaces.

I've worked PRN as a nurse while I've been in sales. All of my sales roles were engineering-based in mechanical tools or chemicals. I've sold into various industries (energy, O&G, aerospace, pharma, HI&I, water treatment, etc). Just looking to get back to my roots.

I was recently laid off and got another offer with 10 days but wasn't able to hold on multiple offers as I was immediate joiner. Hence I joined the company but I was skeptical because it is product based food package manufacturing company. this is my 3 rd company.yoe -3.5 .net developer. Tech PM vs MBB post business school? How do you weigh the options?

Folks who are in PE - do you typically get siging bonuses? If not, is it reasonable to ask? If so, how much?

A new analyst has joined our team and we often give them models/ slides but don’t always ask them if they know all of the accounting principles to be able to make minute adjustments to EBITDA or free cash flow. We are a FIG platform, so the knowledge required is relatively unique as well and not as easy to google as corporate transactions. Is there a better way to coach the analyst short of just throwing them in the deep end to figure it out or should we wait for them to ask us for help?
