For the laundry list of every possible expert skill required in some job posts, at least they ought to include a salary range!!!
It presents some companies as really tone def to job seekers. It’s a 🚩 to demand the world and not provide an idea of what a potential hire might get for such unrealistic expectations.

I recently received an offer at Accenture UK in Edinburgh as an L9 software engineering team lead. I have 3 YOE. Compensation package is £40, 000 base and a sign on bonus of £4000. What should I be expecting at this role? Is the offer good enough?

Due to a recent company-wide increase and additional pay for bilingual direct reports I am only making a dollar and change above them as their supervisor. I was hired into this position in March, having been the first employee in this department. I really tried to get them to budge on salary, they did not, but shortly after accepting they gave the whole company a dollar raise.

What’s something a guy has said in a meeting you could never pull off as a woman? I’ll go. One time a guy creative was presenting his work and said “yeah this was just me being lazy and not wanting to do any work” and he literally suggested we do the same ads as last year, with a different celebrity plugged in.
