Yep - just can’t be two consecutive stays at the same hotel
D1: The “consecutive” is used more in the context of people thinking they can check out and check right back in and have it be considered 2 stays than it is you needing to be there 2 nights for it to be considered a stay
Check again - stay seems to be defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel regardless of check in / out activity. So I think you’d need 2 nights at Hotel A.
The “consecutive” is used more in the context of people thinking they can check out and check right back in and have it be considered 2 stays than it is you needing to be there 2 nights for it to be considered a stay. That’s my interpretation anyway and I’ve heard most people say 1 night is considered a stay
I split last week up to get this promo active sooner. The promo started 3/19. I spent 3/18-3/20 at a Westin and 3/20-3/22 at a Sheraton.
That first stay fulfilled the first pre-requisite stay and then the promo triggered on that second stay. I was given bonus points for that second stay.
In short to answer your question, yes.
Not exactly, you did 2 stays of 2 nights. OP is talking about 1 stay of 2 nights and 1 stay for 1 night
Update: 1 night at Hotel A and 2 nights at Hotel B did work and start the promotion sooner
