Can I leave my biglaw job 3 months before my COA clerkship? Not sure if it will look bad or like I have a gap in my resume. I’m going on 2 years at my firm and I can’t stand it. I’m burned out and the partners I work for told me not to take a vacation this year because of my upcoming clerkship. I have ALREADY billed 2,200 hours this year. Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).
