SHRM vs HRCI? I haven’t heard as much on HRCI HR Management certification. Do people ever get both? Does help to even have the certification from HRCI?

I grew up all my life being into STEM. When I was little my parents would get me science kits. They would put me in STEM summer camps. In college I kept changing my major between Phys, CS, Cybersec, and EE bc I liked all the things and couldn’t pick. I ended up sticking with EE, but even within EE I had a difficult time picking a focus track bc they all interested me. All these experiences lead to me to where I am today, but now that I have a STEM career in a corporate setting it’s all boring af

Would like advice! Currently 21 years old, at a fintech, ~2 YOE (I did some ops work while in college), current base salary is $77K (I commute into the office 3+ days a week in NYC) with other benefits like fully paid benefits, a 4% 401K match, got an RSU grant, unlimited PTO, wifi / gym stipends and a $6K sign on bonus. The culture is awful though and I’m speaking with KPMG tomorrow. Should I switch out of my “cushy tech job” to join corporate? They’d be bringing me on as a “senior 1”

I am potentially getting an offer from Meta as a product manager, in active interviews now. Any comp gut checks available for an L4 or L5 product manager? They won’t give solid info on comp until the offer, I don’t want to waste my time. Also, any insight into work/life balance in this type of role would also be helpful. Im here to say it. I’ve been through the google interview for a pm role. Got hired and guess what? Half the people there are not creative or talented. It’s a corporate lie haha. They act like they want you to example some kind of product sense genius in the interview but when you work there they want you to just be a worker bee with no ideas
