Yes…we were six months in and then became long distance when my *ex* BF went to Wharton. It was horrible lol. All I can say is that it depends on if you are the person in b-school or the person not in b-school. The person in b-school will be exposed to hundreds of new people, be constantly stimulated in their little bubble, and their priorities will change a lot, including what they define as a long-term relationship (e.g., some people start to care about pedigree more or their partner’s family’s background, etc etc.) This is a generalization though and I don’t know your relationship so it could be an exception.
How new is new
It can work out, but I think it’s just important that you both have expectations. You’re likely going to be really busy balancing school, recruiting, social, etc.
Think it’s just important the other party knows what they’re getting into.
