Moved “experience” section to the top and “education” below it. My current job has been expanded to take up a good portion of resume.
I would suggests to tweak the resume in a way where you had some transferable skills from your current part time or full time job. Even as a graduate companies want to see what skills can you bring to the table :)
I am not a recent graduate but I do coach a lot of recent grads into getting jobs. Take a stab at contracting positions. Also make sure your resume speaks on what you know how to do. For starters figure out what you want to do. Google job descriptions for the type of work you want and focus on aligning your skills to it. It's all about wording. If you don't have LinkedIn get one. If you have any projects you've worked on in the past or papers from school upload it on LinkedIn. Participate in job fairs. Follow groups and participate in discussions. At this point you are just trying to create momentum. If you don't have project then create one. Excel is one of the key things in most jobs that will get you hired. If you've used it then your fine. Find some data and create a project to showcase that. Do that for any skill you may have. Follow different recruiters as well. This basic information is just a starter but is guaranteed to get you some looks.
I would suggests just to mention what skulls you got from the job. If u say everything on the resume, you will not have anything to speak in the interview because u have told everything on the resume already and there nothing to discuss further
🤣🤣🤣
Applicable licenses to the top, then experiences, orgs etc at the bottom
Originally order was education, work exp, leadership, then the last section w like skills honors and interest lines
Now it's work exp, education, college/ongoing leadership (shorter than before), and that last section.
Content wise, I'm constructing it the same just putting more emphasis on deal work
