Neti pot is a short term solution for sinus pressure (and personally didn't help me much, but others swear by it). I do a packet of emergen-c (one a day) and some Zicam tablets every hour and usually it clears up in a day or two to the point I can at least function again. Also Sudafed (the real stuff that you need to get from behind the counter) will help cause its a stimulant and it opens and dries out your sinuses. Good luck bud!
If it is just a cold cold not flu, then ginger bath. It saved me from a terrible cold before the investor meeting.
Zicam for sure. Lots of water too – it's even better than tea
I tried Neti pot once. Water never really came out the other side, was left with tons of water in my sinuses and the mother of all sinus infections the next morning.
Just take a hot shower, blow your nose, take DayQuil and stock up on vitamin C / Emergen C, drink water. Echinacea also helps
