Met a guy on Grindr who was visiting my city for the week. We had dinner Friday night. Met up again Sat afternoon and spent a full 24 hours together. Enough in common to keep the conversation going, not get on my nerves, and enough chemistry to be attracted too. Is the next step plan a trip and hang out again for a day or two? I acknowledge jumping to anything more serious than travel buddies would be challenging and unlikely given the distance. Thoughts?

I normally run 3 miles 4-5 days per week and chase toddlers around my house for exercise. I’m 5’4, my body type is very bottom heavy, and my easy to maintain weight is around 152. I eat a very consistent diet on weekdays and am relaxed on the weekends. A few weeks ago I was like f it I’m not running at all this week and at the end of the week I weighed 146. I thought well that was a fluke so I got back on my running and maintained for a few weeks than had another week where I didn’t feel like

I am 37 and just started aggressively saving 4 years ago (beyond maxing my 401k). I have around $500k in retirement accounts and $350k in savings and investment accounts. About $200k in equity in my house (half paid off). Beyond maxing my 401k I have 6k/month I save/invest. Ideally want to retire in 8 years (45). What are good options to do with the 6k/month? Right now I just blindly buy mutual funds.

Hi fishes. I have worked in USA on H1B for 3 years but currently in India and asking my employer to apply for extension so that I can travel back . But the employer is delaying the process with unnecessary reasons. So looked outside and have 2 offers. One with immediate onsite gulf countries. Shall i resign here and try for H1b with different consultancy once I am in Gulf. If I do that can my current employer revoke or withdrawal my H1B?
What are my options?

The salary compensation started off at 66,500 but was looking for the 75k range and they got back to me saying the best they can do is 68,500. They also have a 401k company match up to 9.3%. Do you think this is a solid offer for this job market?

When I came to the US on H1B 2.5 years ago my sponsoring company asked me to sign for visa-cost repayment. My ‘debt’ would disappear over 3 years, and I totally understand that that is common practice for new joiners. But now my H1B renewal is coming up and they want me sign a repayment agreement again. Do your companies do the same? I don’t know why exactly but I am surprised that they ask for it again - it is not a leap of faith anymore for anyone and I have killed it over the past 2.5 years!
