Can a person on H1B in US work in Canada as WFH? Any work authorization needed?

Will basically continue working for US employer but wondering if possible to spend long amounts of time in Canada. (Have tourist visa)

Query regarding Switching of Visa from Skilled worked dependent to Individual Skilled Worker visa. I was on a Dependant Skilled worker visa for 1 year 1 month and now switched to an individual skilled worker visa. Will the previous year in the UK count for ILR ? Or does the clock start again

Has anybody experience in giving up the LPR status after leaving the US for work and residency in another country/homecountry? I come from a low tax country and wonder whether Uncle Sam will send a final tax bill or penalty fee or even make it difficult/impossible for me to abandon the GC once I will leave the US again. I’m maxing out the 6th year for H1b and my I-140 just got approved. 1 month ago, my employer has filed a h1b extension but it is based on the approved PERM instead of the 140, and only asked for one-year extension. In that case, after 6 months (180 days i140 rule to avoid employer’s revoke), will I be able to switch employers even though the renewed H1b gonna expire soon at that time?
