Can a person on H1B in US work in Canada as WFH? Any work authorization needed?

Will basically continue working for US employer but wondering if possible to spend long amounts of time in Canada. (Have tourist visa)

Does EY withdraw approved I-140 after leaving the firm, particularly if it's within 180 days? Our immigration policy says "The firm will withdraw sponsorship upon termination" but kinda vague and I wonder what the real life cases be like? Thanks!

Joining a big firm next week as fully remote lateral and flying out to home office for orientation. The schedule has me in office until 4:15. I’ve already been told I won’t have any actual work. Depending on how many people are there and how it feels, I was planning to stay an hour extra but should I hang around the office until later? First time visiting this city so it’d be great to take in some sights too (although that’s not a priority of course).

I may have a better offer which could be shared only next week as approvals are in process , which offers me wfh option and a little better package and my joining in the next company LTI is on 8th Nov, I am unable to push the joining date to buy some time as HR denied on the same , please suggest me how should I tackle this situation as I’m more interested to join the one giving WFH ? Advice needed on handing in notice, I recently signed an offer letter and understand the screening process takes 4-6 weeks. I have a month's notice period and have agreed a preliminary start date in Feb.

I was planning on not handing my notice in until the checks had been completed so its all secured (not that I think I will fail any checks), but apparently I need a reference from my current employer not previous ones. Can't really do this without handing in notice can I?

Is Operations paid the least at your respective firms? I was hired to a Client Service Delivery role with a heavy focus on project management. I regularly interface with leadership internally and at the client. But, I am aligned to the “Operations” capability and make the least of my teammates who perform seemingly identical work but are aligned to “Strategy and Consulting.” I worry I’m on a career path to being paid the least wherever I go, because Operations is in my title and background.

What level of assurance would a public company audit provide around proof of reserves of Coinbase (or any publicly listed digital asset exchange business)?

i.e. if I have BTC (nothing else) sitting there, can am I assured they have 1:1 reserves to what my wallet balance is?

I’m maxing out the 6th year for H1b and my I-140 just got approved. 1 month ago, my employer has filed a h1b extension but it is based on the approved PERM instead of the 140, and only asked for one-year extension. In that case, after 6 months (180 days i140 rule to avoid employer’s revoke), will I be able to switch employers even though the renewed H1b gonna expire soon at that time?
