For those who work at global companies, does anyone have an incompetent teammate who works in another market, say Europe for example but they’re virtually impossible to fire so they just get to stay on being subpar? Sees seems like it’s an unsaid thing that everyone knows but there’s nothing that can be done.

Can I just vent on how annoyed I am with the increase in “priority boarding” of people that are able bodied? I am happy to let them on first. But I think they should get off last. So many times they are limping or in a wheelchair boarding. And then when we land that are the first to jump up and scurry off. Just not ethical.

Need advice. I’m at my first job in private accounting. Previous experience is as an auditor. I am struggling to figure out the way JEs are posted at my current company. It’s never straightforward even for simple entries. There’s things like settlements which confuse the crap out of me. I’m curious if it’s just my company or if every sophisticated accounting department will have non traditional ways of posting their journal entries.
