A series of little things that ended with one big thing. I had been covering for some coworkers who were out and had been told I’d be getting help soon. The big thing was me being grilled over certain things not being done, when I’m just one person. That was the deciding factor, and I started looking that day.
I switched jobs at the beginning of the year, and I’m so glad I did. It wasn’t one big thing, but rather years of being treated poorly and a lack of leadership. When you stop caring about how you do your job, that’s when you know it’s time to move on.

That’s the worst thing when you are being treated poor and they have the nerve to walk all over you. That’s for sure when it’s time to leave. Bad leadership is another reason many people leave their job as well.

Exactly! For me, it wasn’t one big thing either, just slowly realizing I stopped feeling invested in my work. That’s when I knew it was time to move on.

The last job that I had I love it but I got very bored after working for them for a long period of time. I didn’t want to do any work anymore and didn’t care about how I showed up. I ended up quitting and find a better job that I loved.
