Nice!

My dad and I went in on a bottle in 2017 and it’s still unopened. Sadly he passed before we could share. I’m sure it’s delicious.

Given the back story, I’m sure it’ll be the best sip you’ve ever had. Hope you can enjoy with a loved one and share some stories of your pops. Best wishes my friend.

If you paid over 100, then you overpaid. It’s good, but not secondary market price good

The price which it was acquired at has no bearing on the quality of the drink. No different than walking up to someone at a car show and saying “If you paid over 20,000 for that car, you got a bad deal”. If I was asking for advice on value, different story.

Just changed groups and realizing that to be successful with this team I’m going to have to be in the sunken place quite often. Starting to hit my limit with corporate America. It’s so draining.

I feel like the billable hours model with 40 hours minimum of billable hours most weeks (and obvi more during busy season) leads to increased burnout. Like in other jobs w/o a billable hours goal if you had an unproductive day you could call the day a wash and get back to it another day, but for this job you have to work later to make up for it. Or during the slower parts of the year if there was a 35 minimum billable goal and people could work a true 9-5 that would help recharge too.

Hi Fishes, need your opinion on which course to take up to further my chances at landing a DS role :
1. MIT micromasters in DS
2. Upgrad MSc in DS (with John Moore University and IIIT blr)
3. Any other option you recommend

The upgrad one is pricey yes, but I see folks who have done it and got a DS role.

Please advise.

This stuff is delicious! A light sweet spice and what I thought was a small hint of chocolate. And it goes down very easy! Not harsh at all. Surprising for a rye.

Looking for suggestions.
I'm a scotch whisky drinker, pretty much exclusively, apart from a few select Irish bottles. Live in Ireland. So go tos would be Springbank, Kilkerran, Laphroaig, Caol Ila, Arran, Highland Park, Glengoyne...

On many visits to the US I've tried various Bourbons. Never very successful. Always seemed overly sweet and syrupy to my palette.

But I'm sure there are great choices out there.

What would you suggest as quality American whiskies for a scotch fanatic?
