If it really bothers you and you’ll never talk to them again, block them. It really doesn’t matter if you block them. You could’ve deleted your profile for all they know.
🙁 I’m sorry to hear that
Sorry to hear you got hit. Don’t take it as an insult though. Seriously. Their’s is actually a very human response:
They’re viewing the carnage and praying they’re not next.
To AD1’s point though, the least they can do is offer to help.
Hell, even the 4 protagonists called the cops after they completed their quest to find Ray Brower’s body.

My ex-cd never accepted my invite to connect but would stalk my page a couple of times.
Same thing happened to me. Type of people that slow waaaaaay down at the scene of a car crash, maybe take a quick pic or two.
I won’t lie. I’ve done it — cruised LinkedIn after layoffs.
But only b/c we had layoffs and it wasn’t announced. Even people who worked directly with those affected weren’t told.
Just all of the sudden, there was a new account person handling that client, or a strategist just wasn’t on the team anymore.
We used LinkedIn to try to figure out who was gone — but didn’t reach out to anyone in case it wasn’t true.
If someone POSTED about being open to work or being laid off, I interacted.
I’ll still go by a few profiles every so often to see if people have gotten new opportunities or if they’re actively asking for anything.
But if I don’t have anything to offer, I don’t reach out.
Real question, though: does people cruising your page help you to come up in other’s algorithm who have profiles like theirs?
