I think traditionally a year, but I've worked places for 6 months, finished off strong, and still keep in touch with my old crew and get hit up by them for freelance.
It's more abojt the impression you make. I'd rather have an employee do well for 8 months and leave for a too good to pass up gig than an employee who skates by for 2 years.

Could be a week could be a month, in the end you are replaceable and the sooner you tell them its not working for you the better. Courage is speaking from the heart.
100% whatever works for you. If you speak from the heart and they don’t get it, why would you care for that bridge. There are so many bridges out there.

I’ve been asking myself the same question and I keep thinking it’s about a year.
2 hrs give or take
1 year from an outsider perspective (the folks looking to hire you) but probably less from the inside.
My partner left after 5 months and we are all still cool with her. Big raise and title bump.
