In general, any comp increases that consulting firms will provide, PE firms will do better
Agreed. I was talking about IB. Given the uncertainty about cap gains taxes (which would feed into carry at most PE shops), how much would comp differ? The deal activity last year and this has been robust on the sell side and therefore bonuses have been GRAND at even the lowest levels.
