Given the option within the same company to choose an auto adjusting role or a disability claims role, which would you choose and why? I feel like the leave claims role would be less stressful, but auto claims is likely going to be a little higher pay, same company so benefits will be the same.

I would never be an auto adjuster. It was my aim when I decided I wanted to move into claims, but later i was glad I didn't.

I was an auto adjuster for many years, and it’s definitely not less stressful. We were way overworked and underpaid. I’m sure it depends on the company, but it definitely comes with stress.

Sounds like folks are agreeing with you. Disability seems less stressful.

Hi fishies! Are there any recruiters from Facebook (Meta) who would be kind enough to review my resume and give me some feedback? From my perspective I’m a candidate for some of the roles I’ve recently applied for and also have experience as a contingent worker there and would like some honest feedback so I can reassess and reapply. Thanks so much in advance!

F*ck you. I don’t know what is driving your lack of courtesy but I have represented the same bank before and know their usual original signature requirement.

How much do tech recruiters make? You know, the ones that harass you with copy/pasted messages through email and LinkedIn.

Do they make salary or is it based on successful hires?

I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!
