Giving up my CSR and looking for a lounge/travel card.
Anyone has amex 150k+$200 referral or venture X > 75k sub referral?

Which one is better especially for travel and lounge?

DM’d you for the capital one venture x. I’ll split my referral bonus with you.

Depends on the airports you fly out of and some of your spending habits. Venture X is pretty easy to turn in to a free card. Amex Platinum requires a bit more work but could easily pay for itself if you’re in the right cities + have certain spending habits.

Don’t have an offer for either of the above and I believe the >75k c1 offer is no longer out there as of a few weeks ago. Happy hunting tho & happy to help game out what’s cards might make best sense for your situation

I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.

Hi, I have a PE case study interview in the coming week and was wondering whether there's an accepted rule for modelling returns - should you use the FY21E figure (assuming some rationale to the run rate) or just use the most recent actual? Motivation for asking is partly as I know lots of deals are being traded off forward EBITDAs so thought maybe using the next year expected figure would be common? Thanks in advance!

Hey, I am appearing for a pre-sales engineer interview. It will be a sort of role-play demo session, where the team will want to understand how I present, how I manage a room, how I keep my audience engaged and also your technical abilities when asked regarding the solution. I have a liberty to choose any data science related product. I am essentially confused as to what product to choose, and how to structure the presentation. I would highly appreciate tips and suggestions. Thanks

Kind of a weird question, but if you have status at hotels is there any way you could finagle either free or discounted multi-day parking for hotels near an airport? Don't want to have to rely on ride sharing from my home if there is a stronger likelihood of rides near a hotel airport parking space. I am speculating that it still turns out cheaper than hotel parking. This is not for work so I wouldn't be able to expense it.
