God I hate my job and the partner I work for. Nearly a year in and I can’t imagine staying any longer. This job sucks….. but I am just too exhausted to look for other opportunities with the grueling week. For the people that escaped how did you fit job hunting whilst being slammed at work?

About to get promoted at PwC from Associate to Senior Associate (mgmt consulting). I interviewed at Deloitte for a Consultant position, but they’re potentially giving me an offer for BA. I’d essentially be holding out on the promo until next promo cycle. Usually, I’d understand hiring at a level below for higher levels but I feel like doing a 3rd year as a junior might not be the best decision. Should I push HR for Consultant level? I haven’t gotten the official offer letter yet, just verbal.
