There are 100+ illustrations like this in my hallway because an English teacher thought it would be clever to use "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" to teach imagery. I can't imagine too many more succinctly effective ways to misrepresent God than this. Since I have a tendency to just jump straight to what someone has done wrong and how they need to fix it immediately, what would you say?

Hi All. I am a little confused what the rule is for practicing as a remote in-house counsel. For example, if my employer’s corporate office is based in Texas, but I live in Florida and work from Florida, do I have to register as in-house counsel in both states or either states. I appreciate any insights. Thanks.

Any advice on how to tastefully tell your manager that you no longer want to be a charge nurse anymore? For us being in charge is having full assignment 3p-7p & being responsible for assigning pts , communicating w/ supervisor about various issues, making the assignment for next shift, and a mini report about each pt for the next charge. On the weekends, same responsibilities but 7a-7p. We don't get any additional pay for being in charge and I'm sick of the added responsibility and stress of it.

Bomb dropped on me this morning that I will not be allowed to distribute novels for teaching my remote students this spring. We've done some of Jason Reynolds and Kwame Alexander's books in literary circles in the past, but now I need to replace that with some works that are accessible to my students online. Does anyone have suggestions for available resources and works by Black authors? I can still do my poetry unit, buy need some digital texts. Short stories or other essays. Thanks in advance!

My 7th graders have an assignment coming up where they will read "The Gift of The Magi" and view a 2 minute video of the story, then write an essay explaining which version of the text better fits the genre of realistic fiction.

I have several students who cannot complete the assignment using that story for religious reasons. Any suggestions for a short story and video version I could use for those students?
