People using "I seen" instead of "I saw." Drives me bonkers.

Drives me crazy too!!!

The death of the Oxford comma- a writing tragedy! I still mark them on papers though, even though I don't count it as an error.

when other teachers use poor grammar.

Also when teachers or administrators send out emails that are not grammatically correct...

When to use "you and I" or "you and me" it takes all my self control to not correct people when they say it out loud. If you are going to try to sound like you know how to use proper English... use proper English!

I don’t let it go with students

Can’t let that go

I've learned to accept that "their" as a singular possessive pronoun is the inescapable future of English. Language changes and evolves. This is one of them... but it's a hard pill to swallow.

I know I shouldn’t feel this way, but I just do. How did you cope with such issue raising your children?
