Try Google. If it doesn't work out, boomerang. But don't waste too much time thinking about that because it's probably going to be an exciting change.

Set your counteroffer at 20-30% more and take the money. Partner isn’t guaranteed-nor is your time.
You can always boomerang back to a partner capacity if need be; they know your value-as do you.
I’m making 1/3 of that so , I would flip a coin and choose Heads 😆😆😆

You guaranteed partner within the next 2 years? Also, base salary for partner not that amazing; you’re going to have to work hard making it rain during the three year probation period. For me it sounds like an easy decision- Google.
Your off. Big4 partners normally makes less than MBB partners. McK partner will hit 600-700 cash comp in year 1 and break 1m by year 2/3.
Surprisingly high offer! At that level, cash compensation should be around $300k (let’s say 250k plus 50k cash bonus). Are they giving you $2m in RSUs over 4 years??

You could also take it and leave in good terms to boomerang as partner - not sure if mck does that but D will rehire after industry exp

Congrats! Take the offer! Tomorrow’s never guaranteed where you are now. I’ve recently seen great coworkers being laid off strictly because of $$$ remember you’re just a number there so try it out and boomerang if you want. I’m also sure google has a better culture.
