I am a associate java developer having knowledge and experience on Java, Spring mvc, Spring boot, Hibernate, MySQL. Recently I have joined another IT company. The surprising thing is they are providing training on Scala Programming language .I don't have any knowledge about Scala Programming, Slick and Postgresql. Is Scala developer having good future and demand. Can I better to try for other company to stay in java technology only. EY Infosys Cognizant

Got an interview with Amazon within their Advertising department. I hear working for Amazon can be great if you get into the right department. Anyone have insights to their advertising department? Good or bad? Also, would love some interview tips if you have them! (It’s for an Executive Assistant position) thank you!

Hi fishies, I am currently working as a Manager at Accenture for one of their MDM project. I have received an offer from Axtria. I have asked for 40% hike on my current CTC. There is no WLB in my current project, hence considering Axtria. If someone can help me understand the work culture in Axtria especially in BI segment.

Resign, give more interviews/negotiate with current employer. 42lpa with tcs is great but these days life in tcs is also like boys hostel with strict wardens.
Poori ODC ka budget ek insaan le gaya 😂😂😂
Lol my CTC is more than this at 4 yoe, I was just saying it's the budget of whole team in TCS 😂
How much time did they take to release the offer ? My offer letter is pending with the same salary. I have been waiting for the last 4- 5 days. Please reply.

Looking good. But tcs is now like school with new new crazy rules.
TCS SCHOOL FOR EXPERIENCING UNCERTAINTY.
Pathetic environment created by HRs.
In tcs hike and promotion dont expect much.
Promotion is next to impossible + hell politics.
Hike you will get like 2 or 3 % in a year.
You can join but you will reach 50 lpa in 6-7 years

I have full doubt if tcs will ever give you the final offer letter with this much ctc.
During initial round discussion they don't reject upfront but such high ctc seldom gets approved by the top levels.

Brother, is this true or just assumptions? are you from the top management or do you know anyone?
That's cool salary what's your techstack

Don't switch just for 10%. In TCS as well there will no or very less hike. Assess market situation for your technology, if you think you can get a better offer, only in that case resign. As per current situation WITCH like companies are not preferring to hire lateral with high CTC.
How much is take home for 38lpa now?
After 5 years your ctc will be 44lpa

TCS has revised pip polilicy, and you might lose 8 lakh per annum from your salary permanently in anniversary appraisal. So if you plan to retire from here so expect your final salary to 34 lpa on which you will not get full QVA. From there, it will take 6 years to get back to the original salary.
