Got laid off from Deloitte in April and began an OCM consulting role with a university in June. The role is part-time (about 30 hours/week), and I've been in it since then while continuing to apply for full-time roles. On my resume, I've listed it like my other roles without calling out that it's part-time, and I'm transparent if asked in interviews. Should I be explicitly labeling it as part-time on my resume?

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭

Can you help explain why a team would be able to afford hiring an individual under PDM at a higher salary but unable to offer the same package under the Traditional route?

For context, I’m currently negotiating for a role and have expressed some of my concerns. My recruiter has been very helpful, but I’d like to better understand the reasoning before making my decision. The offer is $100k for PDM, but $85k max if brought on as Traditional.
