Got reached out to by a recruiter on LinkedIn, and set up a call to talk about the position. We talked on Tuesday and the call seemed to go very well. She said she would follow up by sending me the job posting to look at more in depth and confirm with the hiring manager that my salary requirements fit the position. I followed up thanking her for her time and expressing my excitement about the opportunity but still haven’t heard anything from her after our call.

A CRO offerred me an internal consulting/biz dev role. They offered 145k TC (20% bump) and slightly better benefits. They also offered accelerated path (6mo to 1yr) to MC. While promotion to MC at my current company is at least 1 year away. The job is interesting to me and fits my careery goal. Has anyone been able to switch (to industry ) on H1 visa? I am getting a lot of interest from recruiters but am not able to get past the initial screening because of visa.

How long do y’all like resume bullets to be? I know to keep them to 1-2 lines and to keep the resume to 1 page but I’m conflicted about how to balance details vs white space. I’m in product and see some resumes with bullets averaging 5-10 words that state “Manage roadmap for $200mm product” while others use ~20 words per bullet and highlight product info, process, or impact in a bit more detail.

Been on the job hunt for the past 3 months. Applied to 200+. Interviewed with 15 companies (big tech + mid sized) but failing at either hiring manager round or ghosted after onsite. I’ve spent hours everyday applying, researching companies and prepping for interviews, watching videos, reading books, but just can’t seem to close the deal. Feeling so stuck, anxious and frustrated all the time.

Any advice how to get out of this situation?
