That's a good read. I wonder if its decline has anything to do with its recent decision to do away with some of its marketing executives. My memory is a little hazy, but I think their plan was to shift from having a single CMO to regional marketing managers, all of which had the latitude to function autonomously.
That is a good article and also reminds me of all the self checkout lanes that are in the grocery stores now. Feels like stores now want to be a warehouse of sorts and just throw the products out the door while you are walking/driving through. I hope the brand does come back for Starbucks and a lot of other places.
Super interesting! I've never been a Starbucks fan personally, I always have preferred local coffee shops. But I do think that even with my limited experience at Starbucks, I've noticed the quality seriously go downhill. The brand is just almost too big for it to maintain a solid customer service base. Maybe I'm wrong but do any huge brands have good, personal customer service and experiences?
Its interesting to me that people are saying they have seen the quality go down because I have had the opposite experience. I feel like they are constantly improving and coming out with new things which I personally love.
