Green Card Application Cost Repayment
Hi everyone, I went thru the GC process thru
PwC and recently got my card. The cost repayment contract says we have to pay the 100% of the cost if we leave the firm within 2 years from the i140 Receipt Date. Its been 1 year 4 month since my i140 Receipt and i am planning on leaving the firm in Oct (after bonus hits)

Just curious if i would be asked pay 100% of the cost or pay partially since its been around 1.5 years? Also what’s the total cost?PwC

Stay 6 more months, why to go through the whole process of leaving before 2 years

Why don’t you call whoever does the immigration and ask? Is it Vialto? Nothing wrong with clarifying the terms of your contract

like

I agree- better to confirm with Vialto directly than guessing. I don’t think they will share this with your DL or anything. I’m sure they get asked all the time

Sounds like total cost lol

Sir, i am broke 😞

I’m on the same boat and i’m also trying to figure out if it would be a 100%

I was once told that this policy is not really enforced

I just started a new job 2 months ago, benefits and PTO don’t start until 90 days in so I still have a month before I can take off any time, and today found out my company doesn’t offer paid maternity leave.
I’m really struggling handling the symptoms and maintaining my full time job. Thinking about looking for a part time job to have more time to myself through the pregnancy since I won’t be getting a paid leave anyways, but lost on where to start looking. Any recommendations?
