Should I update my LinkedIn to say Salesforce Admin? I’ve been certified since October, so I have the role in my headline, but I’m thinking it’s time to update it in my work experience. I have been transitioned to work on only Salesforce related items with the company’s Salesforce Admin. When I asked my boss about a title change, however, they said that it’s doable but want to wait until performance reviews so they can couple it with a pay increase. As nice as this sounds I feel like It’s BS.

Thoughts on “special” salary grades. I just found out the VP I was offered is not a grade 12 like most comparable roles (verified). Also not an 11, but an 11A. Slightly higher than an 11, a good bit lower than a 12. All due to the fact that it’s a leap from my current position. Why should that matter…..shouldn’t it pay what it should pay if I am selected, rather that curving down towards my current rate?

Does the word “inclusion” do more harm than good? What if the panel we simply said “Diversity & Equity”? My thought here is that inclusion insinuates that anyone who isn’t in the “majority” needs to feel “included”, which could be somewhat off putting. North Indian HR not selecting south Indian candidate into the company even if he on par with North Indian candidate. I see this attitude amongst most of the interview which I had attended.
This seems to be a gray area somewhere in their recruitment .
