I’m working in a large fund; market neutral public market strategy funds; am about to be recommended for a promotion to associate. However, an analyst position just opened up internally in Credit, which is where I aspire to be for the next ten years. More growth and more intellectual challenge. I’m conflicted about applying for a lateral transfer and losing out on a promotion. Will I be missing out a promotion or should I negotiate a promotion as part of my application to this role ?

Our appraisal came through exactly as the offer price we put. Apparently by lenders 3rd party. Isnt that a bit fishy? If it came in lower our contract has the option to negotiate a bit with seller. Is lender just trying to push this along faster? I'm pretty sure in this crazy market the home is not valued at what we offered. Why would seller put a much lower asking price then? Make no sense. My manager has given me rating 1 in confirmatory appraisal on may 18 may which happened after completion of 1 year at wipro.
I raised the issue of rating with my manager immediately , he convinced me not to worry , ratings are already submitted , I asked him to resubmit cause i don't deserve rating 1
So he said he will look if that is possible but didn't changed .Now after 3 months they are pressurizing me to put a resignation,what should i do?
