Had 4 interviews, including take home case, with mid-size startup (500-700 employees). Got good feedback but now they're asking for two more "coffee chats."

How should I read this? 6 interviews seems excessive.

My SO is trying to jump from non-profit to corporate & has not found success with his current job app approach - he’d be a great candidate (obviously I’m biased) but it would take someone to take a chance on an applicant that doesn’t have a traditional background.

I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? Should I apply again in new year or don’t bother ?

What type of case studies are people getting when interviewing for Strategy roles? How about Finance? Are they the same style/depth as consulting case studies? I received a verbal offer for a VP position at CCB line of business at JPMC in NYC two weeks ago. The recruiter asked for salary expectations but there was no number set. HBS Applicants - How did you differentiate roles and responsibilities from key accomplishments?

My last therapist keeps coming up in my mind. I left her when I moved to a new area before COVID dug in and frankly it felt like leaving a girlfriend. She also disclosed in the final session that she was a member of AA and knew several of the people I occasionally discussed from the rooms. Her knowledge of the program certainly built trust with me early on, but it has been two years. I discussed it with my current therapist but she’s still in there. Any advice?
