Do you get the feeling that there is a higher image promotion of women/minority people in Tech?I have seen way to many pictures from major tech companies that promote far more women/minorities than white males in their marketing materials.Wouldn't be better if we hired the best people no matter what the race/gender is?I know some companies are not publishing any gender/race stats but you cant't really demand a 50/50 ratio.Also there is no coincidence that most execs is some companies are British. Our company is shopping around for anti-virus and anti-malware solutions, and encountering companies who “will not redline.” We’ve tried 3 vendors, and the only one who redlined quoted 5x what others have quoted. Some of it has to do with how the biz team is presenting, but has anyone else run into this? I’ve not seen another industry where an outright refusal to redline exists, let alone one where negotiating legal terms costs 5x!

Man PwC PEVC is poaching KPMG Strategy folks like crazy! Recruiters are swarming the DMs out here. Does this mean that the good natured roasting that KPMG Strat gets is just for jokes and in actuality we’re actually well respected professionals? I’m actually very impressed with the practice and everyone I’ve worked with and I feel as though clients really gravitate towards us as well given the positive numbers this year.
