I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

The best advice I’ve ever received is, “If you don’t ask, the answer is always no.” You have to advocate for yourself becsuse no one else will.
Closed mouths don’t get fed.
Honestly just leave. If they have been comfortable underpayment you to only get you to 40k and you are worried about how to get a good raise, the company then you need to look out for your own best interest. As a data analyst in many fields you should easily be able to find something you're qualified for making at minimum 60k. Your company now more than likely isn't going to want to offer you a 50%increase in salary to get you there. Leverage your experience for a new company
Ask for it. If you are now doing the work of 3 or more ppl, present with that, the quality of your work and the hours you are putting in. If your work quality is high and your dept workload is not severely behind, then you have a very good case to present. Ask for $10k/yr raise (at minimum) which your case, if presently clearly and professionally, should easily back it up.
That's kind of crazy. And I thought 45k was way too little to just answer emails and pass things back and forth.
Ask, but also look into applying for other opportunities.
If you have any interest in a Business Intelligence Analyst position let me know. Not sure the pay rate but it's higher than what you're currently at.
