I've had this a few times over my career, where I did the analysis of what range I was expecting and my raise just barely touched the bottom of the range. I was overall content, but was also a little disappointed since the effort didn't quite seem to have paid off.
I've never received a raise that was enough of an improvement to avoid disappointment. The only meaningful increases I've seen in my 20 year career came from taking a new position elsewhere.
