Yes. Essentially every job I’ve ever had has been that.
Rising Star
Yep. Reminded myself I need the money
Yes. Honestly, every interview I go to I take on the mindset I'm interviewing them as much as they're interviewing me. If nothing else, there's nothing wrong with getting more practice conducting interviews and seeing what the job searching landscape looks like.
Someone else beat me to it, but isn’t that basically every job?
Almost every commercial I bid on
Who hasn’t?
It’s the only time I’ve gotten offers is when I don’t want it. Granted, last time it happened the economy was doing much better that I could actually turn a gig down.
Rising Star

That’s most jobs
Yes. It's good practice and a way to gauge what's out there.
Most of my interviews are for jobs that I wouldn’t want if I had better options.

Yeah, I didn’t get it. And, unfortunately, the ECD I interviewed with whom I really admired was a bit of a butt hole to me.
People don’t say butt hole enough anymore.
more often than for jobs I do want tbh
Yep, it’s good interview practice, and you’re probably more yourself as you’re not as nervous or trying so hard. Doesn’t happen often though!
yeah sometimes i take the interview just to snoop intels such as what clients and project they’re working on etc
Interviewed and accepted the offer. Now I'm miserable but employed while I search for a more fitting role
Most of them
Yep - it’s called practice.
