Has anyone had a 3 month “sabbatical” (unpaid leave) approved without it being medical leave?

I’ve been working my butt off at this for over ten years and do enjoy the work/company, but would love a bit of a break to refresh and recharge and would be fine foregoing the income for a relatively short period of time. If people can take 3 months paid leave for a voluntary personal decision to have children, it seems reasonable for me to take the same time unpaid…

Hi All- I’m looking for a super simple time tracking platform to integrate with Asana for a team of 5. All we need it for is to see how much time is going into different projects that our department is managing. That’s it. No billing/invoicing/don’t care about time sheets, etc. We just need the ability to track and pull a report at the end of each month. Anyone have recommendations?

My joining date is coming closer, however education background checks are still processing ( international degrees) . My onboarding coordinator told me that I can still join even if education check is still in progress, provided there wont be any flags. I don’t see any issue with my degrees and have done same with my past companies.

We have such an accelerated close deadline at the publicly traded company I’m at now, I really hate the inflexible tight deadlines and analysis seems to drag on forever after that. We also close AP/AR very early in the month yet that doesn’t stop payments/receipts from happening so we’re constantly adjusting our accruals until the end of month. Do private companies start their close after the month actually ends?
