Hi all,
I just came to realise Deutsche Bank has a fixed rule of max 30 to 35 % hike on fixed component and remaining 10 to 15% variable i.e. total 50% max hike you can ask for no matter how good, skilled you are.
Is it true?
(I got to know this when an HR called me for a Frontend developer role)
Hi all,
I have two campus EY Deloitte on the table from Deloitte Tax (BTS), and EY Tax (DSG). Both are located in the SF Bay Area. Deloitte is paying 2k higher base and a 2k higher bonus.
I have to make my decision by the end of next week, so I’d appreciate some input and opinions on which offer I should take.

Hi,
My wife got an offer from PS for Graphic Designing job.
Designation - Senior Associate Process Solution Level 1
But there is a clause of end date and I am afraid that once this period is over they will fire her.
Is this a standard practice in PS?
HR and Director have assured her that this is a practice in PS and she will be converted into Full Time Employee after this period.
Publicis Sapient
Should she join?
satan's expression 🤣🤣🤣
Can I say no to working the weekend?
Would anyone from Venables look at my book?

I think the max end for SMs were like 200-215k but assumed you would be like a career SM not going for director. Newly promoted SMs (7-8 yoe) I think get between like 140-155k. If you can haggle 180-190k you might be in a good spot. AWM tax really sux (did that for 7 years and moved to consulting) so even if your miserable and getting crushed at least your getting paid somewhat well. Not sure about the signing bonus stuff but you rarely get what you don’t ask for. Good luck!
Hey PwC1, it was a lot of networking tbh and patience. One of the experienced folks from my team had a handful of connections in the group I was interested in joining. I spoke with the partner etc and tried to get the process going of a transfer. It didn’t happen immediately and after 1 year of waiting eventually I told my RP that I just didn’t see a future in compliance with the way the ship is sailing (more form prep less technical etc) and that my time is coming to a close if a change didn’t happen. I think they got the message and within 1.5 months I rotated out. I do have an MBA (and not from a brand name school) but don’t really think that mattered it was more about the connections / high performer status/ retention.
In this market I’d say 170k plus at least 25k signing. Base salary will depend if you’re a new sm or close to director promotion though. My 170k number was for a new sm
I got 20k as a manager so I’d say you could get at least 25k. But you’ll never get 50k unless you ask (and likely have a competing offer) 😂
