I have worked with a few contractors before holding multiple contracting full-time roles, starts becoming really obvious quite quickly as you can see the context switching become mentally draining.

I think this works better for coding jobs where a better coder can do 10x the output than a junior. Plus, less coordination. Managing meeting clashes alone would be pain.

I just got news that my clearance for a DoS internship was bumped to secret not TS because it’s remote, which sort of ruined a lot of plans for prospective jobs after.
