Hello Verizon fellows, In Deloitte, there's a facility to claim a certain reimbursement for purchasing mobile devices through their portal or something. Similarly, do VDSI employees have any discounts or reimbursement for purchasing devices through Verizon? If so, kindly let me know how to check it out. Thanks in advance.

Years ago recruiters were incredibly helpful in securing contract work and employment, today they are warm body herders, have zero vested interest in candidates (or respect), and some are data farming and will use professional references to solicit new business development opportunities. It is really disgusting and shameful how low this profession has fallen.
Agreed, the person who has the most interest in hiring you is the hiring manager, if you make a good impression you are in
Almost all of my roles were from a tech recruiter. I decide what roles they present to me and what client sees my resume. It mutually beneficial for both us because we bothnwantbus to get a better job with the right conditions.
Oh yeah never work too deeply with a clients tech recruiter. I was lucky to know a friend who worked at a recruiting agency. There's several firms in the Chicago Area that focuses on fitting the right fit, so depends on where you live.
It’s not you. Many recruiters are juggling dozens of roles and only get feedback when a candidate moves forward, which leads to silence. Good recruiters do exist, but timing and volume often get in the way.
