Has anyone worked with Molly Kremer, the Billing Coach, to get their bad timekeeping habits under control?

I did the course. There were some good nuggets and just getting into the habit of entering time contemporaneously was helpful, but overall, it was a little too touchy feely for me.

Thank you. I appreciate the feedback. That is helpful information.

I did it and I can tell you what I learned in about 20 minutes. Although that advice was helpful, I didn't understand the point of the weekly coaching.

Sooo can you share?

She added me on LinkedIn. Surprised people pay for that.

That’s what I’m trying to gauge…is paid content better than free content? If it actually works, then the ROI makes it worth it. That does not seem to be the case though.

OP - The reason to hire Molly or any coach (raising hand) is not because you cannot learn these things on your own. We have all the knowledge we ever need at our fingertips. All you have to do is ask AI, Google, or go to LinkedIn.

The reason you hire a coach is the same reason you hire a trainer at the gym. They keep you accountable for your goals. A trainer will teach you how to do the exercise correctly, and then make sure that you do 10 of them perfectly. And they will do this for as long as you want the accountability, or till it becomes a habit and you decide you don't need them to hold you accountable anymore - you can do it on your own.

A coach will teach you how to learn whatever you need correctly, then make sure you do it every time you need to.

Hi All-
Need a suggestion. H1 maxing out in sept 2021.
Got a job offer from small consulting firm (<200 people) and they are ready to file my GC from day1. About to resign in next couple of weeks once I receive my h1 approval.
But Deloitte sent a notification that they are restarting Perm process. Currently with Deloitte - nothing has been filed. They have the JD and all the documents from my side but haven’t filed pwd yet. Stay or move out .?

I have an interview at a firm that focuses on criminal defense. I currently work in ID and have years of previous PD experience. I’ve never worked in private criminal defense. What questions should I ask in the interview? What should be looking at to evaluate whether it is a good practice?

Negotiating a settlement. I’m at $10k, opposing counsel is at $20k. My client won’t go higher than $15k. OC has come down to 17.5k and says his client won’t budge from that. Do I offer 12.5k so we can hopefully meet in the middle at 15k? Is that how the settlement game is played? Seems dumb we can’t just say let’s meet in the middle now and be done with this. (I’m a first year, first time negotiating a settlement on my own and I don’t want to screw this up!)
