Recent grad here! Graduated in December 2019 and Covid hit not long after. Been having trouble finding a steady job. Any advice? Or anyone in the same boat??

My last therapist keeps coming up in my mind. I left her when I moved to a new area before COVID dug in and frankly it felt like leaving a girlfriend. She also disclosed in the final session that she was a member of AA and knew several of the people I occasionally discussed from the rooms. Her knowledge of the program certainly built trust with me early on, but it has been two years. I discussed it with my current therapist but she’s still in there. Any advice?

Say I had a “friend” who gained 15 Covid lbs but is still on dating apps with old pics. Is that considered catfishing? She’s not overweight, but not fit anymore. Still good looking...she suspects. Last year when Covid broke, I received a couple of interview calls but ignored them as I felt the organization kept me at work when other companies cut short their HR staff so I should be with them even if with no appraisal. But now, I was living in the fool's paradise when I am told to leave with no job offers in hand, car and home loan, dependent parents, expecting jobless spouse with a 3-year old kid.

I feel like working from home has been the death of my dating life. I used to at least go on 4 dates a month, and I was casually seeing a guy for a while. Post covid, I love my work-life balance but I'm never out. I can't meet people sitting at my desk, and I have no local coworkers to pull me out of the house for happy hour.

How many of you actually want to go back to the office - and will take a Covid test before going in? Anyone gearing up to do that this week?

Currently not ADD but I do have severe narcolepsy with cataplexy. Everyday I wake up feeling like I haven’t slept 3 days. Cataplexy is sudden loss of muscle tone. Currently on Adderall for it and have been for 5 years. Without it and my ven. I collapse 10-20 times a day. My doctor has left the practice and replacement asshole with a Ph.d says I need a new sleep study and won’t prescribe my prescription until I have it done. I am Covid pos and now can’t get in to get a sleep study. Am I fucked?

Are you aware of the CPA exam credit extension to 2021 for NY CPA candidates impacted by COVID19? It’s on a person-by-person basis and you need to request the extension. Has anyone tried doing this yet? Can anyone shine more light on this? The extension would really help me, but I’m not sure what more to tell them in my email than the fact that I couldn’t sit for the exams this Spring/Summer due to test centers closing in NYC.

After 5 years of freelancing (which I have loved) I am considering a full-time gig.
